help please

i bought a 67 with a 4 speed. Wires were burnt up under dash and needed a fly wheel.Replaced underdash harness out of a 68. NOw getting power to inside,but truck still wont start when pulling off.Dont want spend money on flywheel if truck wont start. Anyways truck has hei distrib and is getting power.i also replaced the coil. the truck sounds like it will fire but wont ? can anyone help me ?

Did you run a new wire for yur HEI to replace the fuseable link the normal distrib/coil setup uses? Unless you have a full 12V you'll have issues with the HEI firing. Off the top of my head that was the only thing I can think of at the moment.
