Unhappy Sad Day For a 72 C-10 CAB Wish I could of saved it! Pictures

We all Love Pictures!!!!Ok here goes I went a long for a ride with a friend of mine to the Local Recycling Center to recycle scrap metal and On our way out, Here comes a Truck Hauling a Trailer, Hauling to what looked like to me a 67-72 chevy Cab But I wasn's sure for it was all coverd up. So as we waited to get out of there The driver and his passanger his grandson get out and started to uncover it.They untied the tie downs then get back in the truck and move forward as the Vehicles are being told where to park, Well we still waited to get out I was getting impatient to know what was under that darn cover. I told my buddy dude thats a Chevy Cab under there, He replies ya right looks like but who knows. Then they come to a stop again they both get out again and finish unsecureing it the cover finaly comes off and behold there it was under the cover a 1972 C-10 Cab going to the Dump/TRash/recycled/ going to be crushed! I asked my buddy if he had his camera so I grabbed it! These were the last Known photos of that truck I could have used the power brakes for my truck Sucks I bought a used power brake set up a week ago for $150.00 The bench seat could have just been cleaned the Stereo looked good original it said GM on the face plate and the Gauge cluster wow it looked good. this truck had been cut off at the back of the cab frame in all so the complete disc front end was on it! The owner saw me taking pictures and came back out of his truck told me it was just sitting in his yard he had to get rid of it! If he would have know many people still look for these trucks he would have posted it for sale the rear end bed half was uesd as a trailer.....the rear window was also on it and good........How much realy do you guys think he got for it that any one of us couldn't have offerd him for it This trully sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy the Pictures!

Sad thing is, this is happening more and more as scrap metal prices go up. Good thing is, that means my truck just got a little rarer! Sorry, just looking for the silver lining...
