fender trimmin

all right .. i'll finally admit it, i need to trim my fenders, upon a closer look (and well the rain here the past few days pulled off all the mud covering it) my pretty pretty stright fenders got eaten my pretty tires... soooo
what do you all think i should do about the cutting..i plan on cutting with the fenders on the truck. . .
what about the inner fenderwells? should i agressivley negotiate (HAMMER YEAHHY) with those to move them around a little bit?
feel free to photoshop guidelines etc if you feel like giving me the effort =-)
ive got time before i "need" to do this because im not going to experience much movement with the shattered axelshafts still
