Please Explain Fender Differences

What are the differences between the years with the front fenders other than the obvious lack of reflectors on the '67's?

67 to 72 GMC and 67-68 Chev all use the same fender with the exception of the 67 lacking the marker light. 69-72 Chev use a fender of their own that is almost the same but with the leading edge at the eyebrow having a different stamping to accomodate the Chev grill.

The '67 fenders have no marker light, the '68 ones do, otherwise they are the same. The '69-'72 fenders are the same. The question is do GMC and Chevy fenders interchange. I believe that '68-72 GMC fenders will fit onto a '67 or '68 Chevy, but will not fit a '69-'72 Chevy. In '69 Chevy went with a new grill, but GMC stuck with the same type right through.

'05 Sierra 4x4 - Had 270,000 KM and running well when it was written-off by a stop sign runner.
'94 F-150 from the "F word" company. I'll admit it...good truck. Sold what was left of it for $800 to a guy who came to pick it up at 11:00 PM with cash in hand. Hmm.
'79 Sierra Grande (Black) organ donor - perfect rebuildable 4-bolt 350 and a good TH350.
'76 Sierra Grande (Orange) - hate isn't too strong a word. Kid who bought it turned it into a hot rod.
'68 C-10 R.I.P. - Dad's old truck...too far gone to resurrect.
'59 C-50 - with hoist. Truck is gone, wife isn't. Nuff said.

I believe that answers my question. I have a '72 Chev and I am replacing the fenders from a '69 Chev. So, I guess I am okay, huh?

Yup. The onl;y differance on your new fenders will be the holes for the engine option badges. In 69 and 70, they were under the chassis designation (C/10, C/20). In 71 and 72, they were moved under the front side marker lights.
That is the ONLY thing that is not the same on your fenders.

need more details

Ok I understand 68-72 GMC fenders are the same as 68 chevy. What about the front GMC chrome moldings and holes vs. the edge moldings found on some 68's? I need 68 chevy fenders with allowance for front edge trim. Is the 69-72 GMC hood the same as 69-72 chevy? How can this be if fenders are different or is the GMC "top-Bar" what makes up the differnce in length?

Please help.
