typical drop spindle problem?
I put on my DJM 3" spindles last night [5" total now] and went to drive it today when I got a bad grinding noise. Get out and look and the top of my brake caliper is grinding againts the inside of my rim. Its the caliper bracket, not the actual caliper. Is this normal? They are 15" rims and the a-arms are not hitting.

Yes it's common. I had that prob with my 95+ wheels. I had to grind off about 3/4" inch off the top w/ an angle grinder.

Spindles always have some issue. 73-87 may rub the wheel on the top edge 88-98 rubs the LCA "rain gutter" on stockers 99-03 lose half of the turning radius |
