A couple of questions
Looking to swap wheels and tires. The plan is a 10 inch wide with a P315/60R15 M/T drag radials. This tire is roughly 30" tall, and the sidewall is about 13". I have a 1980 Stepside. I know a 10" rim fits, and I think there is more than enough room for the tire. Question is the rims I like only come with a 4 or 4.5" backspacing - anyone know if this should work? Aldo I would like to buy a nice Moroso aluminum pan for the 468 - I guess any pan with a rear sump is OK to use?

Re: A couple of questions
Think I need to get out tools...ha!!!! Pro Street with narrowed 9" F**d on the way.... Working on making a deal for a rear housing that has alreay been done 52 1/4" axle to axle ..... looks like it will work. Includes Summers axles alreay drilled for 5 x 5" Chevy bolt pattern.
This MUST be meant be... ever since we decided to go this route we have been fortunate enough to find "deals" for the parts/wheels/tires we are going to need. Parts-a-Rama at Butler Fairgrounds in Prospect, PA starting today (Friday am) thru Sunday.... one of the areas LARGEST auto swap meets.....
