Re: Stacked headlights?

All of that work.....and can't get the hood adjusted properly?
Stuff like that just bugs me..... I don't care if it is the coolest thing I ever saw, that just kills it. Weld, fabricate, body work and from the pic at least half decent paint, but 5 lousy minutes to fix that? Come on

none of these trucks had them.
Add in the El Camino...Malibu...and the other A Body GM's. They also were round head lights in the A Bodys for 76 and 77. 78 and up went all square.

Re: Stacked headlights?

My dad bough a new '77 Malibu wagon when I was a kid. It had the quad square lights. I think the last year for round, on those was '75. The Laguna kept the round, probably because of the sloped nose? They had a more Camaro looking headlight "bucket", rather than a flat ring.

77 El Camino SS mine.

Chevy was the only one that had the option of square in 76-77.

Re: Stacked headlights?

Come to think of it...wasn't that the rare corvette stack option that went with the rare BB corvette engine? If I remember correctly someone on this board had an uncle who's sister-in-law's fourth cousin's grandparents neighbor had one back in the barn? I'm sorry guys...I couldn't help myself. I think I need a coffee break.

I think it had to be a "Malibu Classic" to get the four square lights, my parents had a '76 they bought new with two round lights.

I thought he was talking about the lights that have the blinker built into the light.
