Door sill plate. And new tranny

What are the screws going into? i have two or three that are loose. How do i fix them? And as soon as i finish my vacation in Hawaii im going to pick up my new trans. Its a 700r4 out of a 92 astro van. Lockup converter pretty much base model. What seals should i get just to freshen it up? tia

The retaining screws screw into the edge of the floor and can be seen sticking through underneath. If the floor is solid, the next larger screw diameter will work, usually. If the floor is not solid then a sheet metal repair can be made to fix the problem.

I've also replaced the sheet metal screws with machine screws and nuts. That works well if the metal has streched too much to get a larger sheetmetal screw to grip.

Good luck, Rg
