Re: what kind of spindles are these???
Sounds like a pair of McGauhey's "classic drop" (TM) 2.5" units. nice pieces. I have them on my 72 burb project.
Those look right? Josh

Re: what kind of spindles are these???
That depends. The ball joints on '71-'72 disc brake trucks are bigger but the control arms are basically the same, except for the brake hose tab. I had to relocate the ones on mine but I used a '71-'72 brake line kit. Since I did mine they have come out with brake line kits for '67-'70 for the disc brake conversion. Makes life simpler
As for the spindles, they also now sell the dropped spindles for disc brakes and '67-'70 ball joints. You will need to determine if yours are for the drumb brake(smaller) or the disc brake size ball joints. Easiest way would be to go to the parts store, NAPA or whatever, and ask to see one of each ball joint. Then see which one fits your spindle. Then buy a set of 4 because you probably need them. The lowers are a press in to the control arm. Tom
