I am giving up...

I am giving up on putting the TBI Unit in my truck with the BB.. It just seems like to much work to do if I am going to change it to a Multi Port later on. I will just run a nice carb and intake for now. Maybe even put in a differnt cam instead of the stock emissions cam... I will only be driving the truck sometimes and mostly on sundays and to our meets and maybe some local cruise nights during the week.

it is sunday and I need a dose of pick and pull so off I go. Hopfully I will find something cool. At least a HEI unit...

What work...the intake, harness, ECM, fuel lines, fuel pump, etc, etc, etc.

Re: I am giving up...

I have all that stuff. The fuel pump is acually mounted in my truck. I was using it for one of the small blocks I have. I just don't feel like dealing with all the wiring and hiding all of the other componants. I don't want to much stuff in the engine compartment. Carb for now will be a cleaner look..

I know exactly what you mean!!!

I spend quite some time there trying to see what will fit, work, and what other cars and trucks I can use parts from, etc. $2 day is a pretty cheap education!
