Accel plug wires-a review
I've ran the generic(make em yourself) 8mm plug wires from Accel for the past 5 years now.
I've had to replace the set 3 times due to dead wires. I use wire separators and make sure they don't touch any hot eng. parts etc. What's your experience with Accel wires? So Far,I think they suck.

Re: Accel plug wires-a review
I used Accell 8mm wires on my 71 bronco and hated them. They caused me to miss-fire at higher rpms (4500 or above). Replaced them with other Accell's, same problem. Finally, i went with the stock ford ones and they worked great. Accell's just don't deliver. On my 71 GMC 2500, I still have the basic wire sets (7mm) and I haven't had any problems. These have been on for about 6 or 7 years now. I know they need to be replaced but the damn thing runs so well I'm affraid to mess up a good thing
