OE outer grille shell vs. all chrome - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I had to replace the outer grille due to kneeling on the softer OE outer grille, then i tried to fix it.(first pic).

I really like the all chrome look(second-third pic) vs the OE. What do you guys think? Any preference? Also, I was thinking about painting the inner grille black. Any thoughts on that?

I like them both. All chrome might look just a little better but both look great. Nice looking truck by the way.

Looks very nice. Is the old one salvagable? Sell it? Mine is pooped out for sure. PM me if you want to sell. Again looks great, I wouldnt paint the center personally..

Looks good chrome. I would paint around the headlights black like the original but leave the inner grill the way it is. How did it fit?
