Between retiring and my son be laid off I had to sell, oh well their are many more out there. Perhaps I'll get a 73 stepside like I always wanted.

Man I hate that you had to sell your truck. I remember how proud of it you were when you recently got it all painted up and looking great. You'll get another one and it'll be just as good as this one if not even better.

This situation makes me remember how I felt 5 years ago when I sold my 71 GMC 1/2 ton 4x4. Man I felt so bad about that, but I had to do it at the time for family reasons, and family comes before hobbies.

A year after I sold my GMC I stumbled across my 86 Scottsdale K10, and I haven't looked back since. Mine still has a long way to go, but it will be a nice truck again one day. The same will happen for you. The right one will come along when you have the money and the rest will be history. Keep the faith man, and definately keep hanging out here with us in the meantime. ...Joe

i was interested in it as well. i too am laid off from my job & it doesn't look good. i would have for sure given you a good offer... it looks very good from what i could tell in the add.hopefully times will once again be good & we can start off again on our projects.

Another will come soon, it looks like I'll be getting rid of the camper special as well, but lfe goes on. I got close to what I wanted, but I was making money on deposits, everyone wanted it but could not come up with the cash. Twice I got to pocket some cash, can't beat that.

Dang Adam, how do you remeber that seat?? I had it reupholstered (sp?) by some idiot who really botched it up, still have it but don't know what I'm going to do with it.

Saw the ad last week. Times are going to get hard for a lot of people in the near future. A lot of peoples future is bleak, and they don't even see it coming yet.
