Real nice - original equipment - took off a 68 - (still have most of the molding clips on the back too) - hazed over so I'm pretty sure they are aluminum - not bent - no dings - only discoloration is where the chevy logo was (the hoop is shinier from being under it). I will let new owner do the polishing/buffing so I don't make a mess of them.
I'll have to package them carefully and it'll cost extra to ship due to the length. $85 will get them to your door in the lower 48.

Put me first in line if you will. Can they be polished out, or are they anodized like the 'other year grills? Also does that 85.00 include insurance?

I believe they are just plain aluminum - I didn't want to try to polish them for fear of scratching them. Maybe someone else can jump in with more info?
I haven't insured anything I've sent before - I would ASSUME it can't be more than like $5 right? Insure for say $100? Would that be the proper way to do it?

Thanks for the info. Yes insurance is less than 5.00. I would insure it for 200.00 though if you don't mind. I will pay a little extra if necessary. I look at insurance on used parts like this: If it gets damaged then hoping for another used part to come along will take time and luck, so if my used part gets damaged, I want it insured enough to pay for the new part I will have to get to replace the used part in a timely manner. Again that is just my thought process. I will definitely take them as soon as someone can chime in that they can be polished and are not anodized. Will you send me your paypal link?

I tried to polish my anodized pcs. up with out much luck, sorta stayed the same looking. Then I took them to the local anodizing shop and was amazed at the cost to have them redone$$$$$...he suggested putting them into a caustic bath, took less then a minute. It took all the anodizing off, down to bare alum., then you can polish till your satisfied, and clearcoat...Worked for me

BTW... he didn't charge me to dip them

Mine were, but they are available in steel. Don't know what's being offered for sale
