i like the 69-70 and the 71-72 with the 67-68 hoods. would like to see the fab work behind those.

that fesler blazer is pretty cool, i'd like to see it with a top on.

Re: Who's heading to Columbus Goodguys?

One of the highlights of the show was watching the Fesler-built Blazer, kick the crap out of the big dollar Pro Touring/G-machine F-bodies, on the autocross course! Yes, the Fesler built blazer is also a high dollar machine, but the owner was there to drive it hard and he embarassed several F-body owners/drivers that day.

For anyone who has not been to this show, it is an absolute must see event!

Re: Who's heading to Columbus Goodguys?

Notice the black truck with the Chevy 348-409 motor? I had seen it before, interesting idea for an engine swap. That engine would have been WAY cool in the flat black truck!

The Fesler truck is awesome, but the amp wires right next to the gas filler neck kinda scare me. Probably not a big deal, but I wouldn't want to be working on something that can spark that close to the filler neck.

Re: Who's heading to Columbus Goodguys?

Thanks for sharing those pictures, very nice trucks!

I also noticed the 69-72 trucks with the early hood mods, looks great I think...

That blazer looks to be painted a color very close to my truck

My wife hates the color I chose and when I showed her that she was shocked that someone else has my tastes

Re: Who's heading to Columbus Goodguys?

I never saw the ambulance either 7T2.
I was in my beater blue and white 69 burb.

We left at 7am, made it columbus at 11am, via the scenic route.

After spending 4 complete days, almost getting mugged while "walking throught the McDonalds drivethru" at 3:30am sat. morning, and getting home at 8pm sunday night, I'm beat...............

We had a fantastic time, as always.

Can't wait for next years..

I didn't have the ambulance there this year. I took my orange 72 to sell, and I was too lazy to reassemble the front bumper/grill to drive the ambulance there. I'm putting two giant sirens in place of the bumper bullets on the ambulance. They sound like a tornado siren going off together! They pretty much share the same profile as the bumper bullets, so the overall look shouldn't change much, but it should bump up the cool factor a few points.

Are you guys going to the Goodguys event in Norwalk on Sept. 4-5-6? I thought it conflicted with the Kruse Auction on Labor Day weekend, but it's the weekend after so I'll probably be there.

Re: Who's heading to Columbus Goodguys?

We have rooms reserved for Norwalk, so it's in our plans.

Depends on weather, money, if we're moved into our new house, money, if I have a job yet, money, etc...

We usually camp, but they have it SOOO screwed up this year since GG's took over.
Went from $25. a weekend to camp to $40. a DAY. Hell, I might as well stay in the cushy hotel with indoor pool and jacuzzi for $60 a day.

We can hook up for a cocktail during the weekend forsure

Re: Who's heading to Columbus Goodguys?

That was an awesome show. I went to the drags on friday and spent all day saturday at the show. I'd have to say my favorite car was the red Cuda with the twin superchargers.
