I need a heater before winter, could use help.

I took the blower motor out years ago, and have yet to find it. I was 17 and it was strictly a hotrod, but its going to be a DD now and I could use anther one...lol. I found the motor, but never found the case that bolts to the firewall that bolts it on. I just looked on LMC Truck and they don't offer it, or couldn't find it.

I do need to subscribe. I don't need or want anything used really. I had a really nice one but lost it. I want a new one thats clean and will make the other new parts under my hood. I was thinking about something aftermarket that can go inside the cab and out of sight, but I don't know of one.

if you want A/C then there's a bunch of places that'll sell you something hidden inside the firewall/behind the dash.
As for a used one, these can be found in great shape quite easily. They can be painted and smoothed to where they look just as good as all the new stuff you bolt onto your truck.

even if you are a subscriber, you are turning it into a WTB thread, and breaking the rules.

Re: I need a heater before winter, could use help.

I guess I read the rules of the site all wrong. I thought you couldn't ask to buy parts from another member, never thought it meant you couldn't ask where to buy the parts you need...lol...my bad. I posted, as said above, I looked on a website and couldn't find, a NEW part, and was wondering where I could buy another NEW part at. I never said I "wanted to buy" a used part from anyone on here. Like I said, I'm sorry if I understood the rules wrong, and I'm sorry won't happen again. I'll keep searching the web for a place to buy my part.

vintage air and a few others offer heaters that are compact they're designed for universal fit meaning you'll need to do some fabrication to use them

LOL, OK, I wasn't sure because there was never a quote for anyone. I have had a few guys PM me, wanting to sell, but I don't really want a used part. They may be just fine, but I'm considering AC, and need something new that maybe mounts inside the cab, so I can clean up the engine bay a bit.
