1997 chevy suburban questions

I have a 1997 chevy suburband with about 90k miles on it. I have never changed the spark plugs on a car before, but i think it is pretty simple. I have all the tools and everything, such as a torque wrench and spark plug sockets. Is it really hard on these vortec engines?
How mant ft lb do i torque the plugs to?
How long should it take?

Also i do not have jack stands and was wondering if i could change the oil with them?

There is no big deal to switching the plugs just do 1 at a time so you dont cross the plug wires. I just snug them up good. there should be plenty of room to change oil without stands. If you want to start serviceing your car i suggest getting a Hayes manual to help you out they have lots of infomation in them for the do yourselfer good luck

I am just trying to get an idea of what the insurance company will do. The car is still driveable but it is a 1997 with about 91000 miles on it.

Things that were damaged in the wreck:
Front Bumber
Front grille
Front Lights
Air Conditioning condenser, lost all the freon too
Radiator
Hood Latch
Some part of the front suspension, alignment is messed up
Body behind the front bumper is damaged
license plate holder

Also, above 60 miles per hour, i am getting lots of vibration, that was not there before the accident.

With this damage how much would the repair costs be? Just looking for an estimate.
