U- Joints

I just put a new U joint in my drive shaft and it seems very stiff. Is this normal? Does it loosen up a bit after its been used bit?

Did you grease them? Yes, they will tight for a little while.

yea I greased them up good. Ill put it in the truck and see what happens

mine were tight for a while even with grease and its pretty normal .. as long as you can move them by hand its not too tight

Think of it this way---either good or bad---They WILL loosen up after going down the road for a short while. It is only the amopunt of time in use that will be affected.
