Re: Hi, noob here with a ?

Found it.........for you tailgate lovers. The guy I bought the truck from said he took the camper off once and hauled a load of trash to the dump. So I guess it isn't mint. Anyway hosed it off and this is it.

See its not even mint! I wouldn't put it on a truck that nice! Since you're a new member, and I like to help out noobs, I'll properly dispose of it for you. Here's my address... -j/k

That is a nice gate, and probably worth at least 5 bills in today's market!

Very nice truck! As you have already noticed there are a lot of people who are not only nice, care a great deal about these trucks. You have a great piece of history in your possession especially with all of the documentation and the orginal tailgate. As I get older I have developed an appreciation for the pieces left over from a time past. As others have already stated welcome from North Carolina and great truck!

Yep, know what you mean. Actually since I started this post I have been over at my brothers doing a little dusting and cleaning on the truck. Kinda rekindled my interest.

About a month ago I had a little motorcycle incident resulting in this. A broken collarbone. So I've had a little time on my hands.

Also I don't drive the truck because I have these things, a Procharged Vette and the Honda 1100xx. The Honda being the above mentioned motorcycle, which survived unscathed.
