Re: What do I need to convert to rear coil springs?

you need to buy my '64 short fleet, has everything you need, lol
check and see if your truck has the trailing arm cross member, then you need arms, coils, spring cups, panhard bar/mounts, and axle perches/ u-bolts

While coils give a smoother ride, they also increase wheel hop.

If you were in Texas, I would give you a 66 chassis.

no one really asked why you want to switch? You do have more options with the leaf springs in the rear, unless you are going to bag it and drop to the floor for some reason.

Well, I'm planning on doing bags in the future. I want to lower the truck but at the moment Im looking for a semi cheap lowering system. I think im going to go wth lowering springs in front/spindles and lowering leafs in rear.

Do I have to do anything suspension wise if I lower the rear 4" with leafs??

@ Joey

I appreciate it man, if only i was closer.
