no electrical power

started to pull away from gas station.......truck died.....no electrical power what so ever...no headlights, taillights, nothing. Got it towed home. Battery is good. Power to starter by shorting sol. Replaced what I think is the fusable links, but still nothing. HELP!!! This is on a '72 with '75 454. Previous owner says thay harness was left stock.

Have you checked the junction block on the right fender, by the battery? Make sure it's hooked to the positive side of the battery. When there's no power to that block, or to the wires that come off of it, you wont' have power to anything but the starter. Check there first.

Also check the battery cables. Full length, and all grounds.....
