Options for auto trany linkage??

Well i have my headers in right now, but my linkage arm that is on the frame is hitting the header. I can get into RND, but no 2,1. I'm running a T400 and would like to keep the column shift rather then go to a floor hurst style shifter.

Anyone know of some options out there??

Re: Options for auto trany linkage??

Lokar makes a great universal single rod. Its got a little taper-looking piece of aluminum with a spline that operates the rotation with a rod that can easilly be cut and bent to get the perfect shift. I made a detailed post on it a few years ago about exactly how much should be trimmed off and what angle to bend it, but I cant find it now. I got mine to perfectly line up with my column indicator and have the perfect firmness between the detentes; it only took a few hours.

I ended up going with a B&M rachet shifter.. I still have my correctly set up one sitting around with all the parts. PM me if you're interested.

Locar. I read that post you had. Couldn't remember what brand it was though.
