Re: 1967 gmc 1/2 with v6

If it were me and the price was right I would buy it just to keep it from getting crushed.

I would probably make it road worthy and drive it for a while until I decided to keep it or sell it to some one that wanted to restore it.

Just my .02 cents.

Re: 1967 gmc 1/2 with v6

You can sell the V-6 and NP435 to alot of people. Especially since '67 was one of the first years for back-up lights, I think. Check out http://www.6066gmcguy.org for more info about the V-6.

Edit: if it's a 351 with a four speed, I'm calling dibs if you dont' want it.

v6 and inlines were all you could get in 67 IIRC... they are neat engines, but way out dated.
If you want the body thats on it, then buy it.

Re: 1967 gmc 1/2 with v6

They're not rare but they're something different. Drive it for awhile, they're a hoot!

Longhorn Man, You remember correctly, V-6s and inline Chevys in the pickups, the only small blocks in GMCs for 67-68 were in Suburbans and Panels.

subalternnavert, 66s had backup lights and they were optional before that, not sure what year that started but I doubt if it was earlier than 64.
