Question air in cooling system

pulled water pump and checked it out still get air gurgle at heater core when accerlate motor. Dont have good feel of circulation at top hose. Wonder if could be as Piston says could be cooling just off heater core return to raditor. New pump has plug on it.

I pinched off hose and it made the water circulate and got the air out. Thanks Piston I have been messing with for days. Would it be benifical to reroute heater hose to water pump and cap off raditor or leave it alone? Thanks again Jim

I would reroute the hose to the waterpump and see how that does for you. This will help isolate the radiator from the rest of the cooling system until the thermostat opens.
