update on 82blackbeast

if you guys remember matt (82blackbeast) from CT, i talked to him last night. been awhile since i had heard form him, i think he keeps pretty busy with work and school. but everything seems well and hes still messin with the truck like all of us. he sent me some new pics as well. this is still gotta be one of my favorite 73-87's of all time, if the looks don't convince you, just take a ride, the motor will (trust me, that was a wild ride )

I've ridden in it as well. With a 3.73, 406 modded heavily, and a tough 700r4 with large meathooks in back it's one hell of a ride!!! He's got teh rear tubbed out and looks like factory!!

he's still working on the interior, but he just found the long sought after black factory seat belts on ebay.

I didn't think GM ever made any black factory seat belts for our trucks. Just like they never made any black interior.

Am I wrong??

Is that a '88-91 GMC grille without the emblem or an aftermarket one? I'm asking because i thought both chevy and GMC grilles are 3-part (mine is) but that one looks like it's made out of a single part and i can't find the seams.

well he showed me the ebay auction he was getting them from. but i don't have the link anymore. but they are exactly like our seat belts. not sure if they are g.m. or not but they look good. he has been lookin for some forever, and sadi he refuses to be out bid on this one

Rock - that grille uses the 88-91 radiator support. but i'm not sure how much of the grille set up is factory style. alot of subtle things have been done to the truck, so there is no telling whats custom or not. i will ask next time i talk to him.
