So i got a kit from Performance Online and the truck is sitting on the suspension without an Engine. The sway bar is 1" to long on both sides. Should i wait for the Eng to be installed?

I'm a little confused. I checked ECE's site and the sway bar they list doesn't look like this one. They show a stock style but 1 1/4" thick instead of the factory 1 1/16". Looking at your lower arms, the two mounting holes on the plate in front of the springs is where the stock mounts go. Stock setup does not use sway bar links like what you have on yours.

Kind of weird but it seems like this bar is either not for this truck or it's for stock arm where you can bolt the L bracket to.

Not sure it that helps or not.

I corrected it... They are POL sway bar and lower arms.

Have you tried calling POL?

I did call them and explained it the best i could. They said wait for the eng to be installed but i am having a hard time believing that. What will happen when the suspension is unloaded from a bump or something? the bar be ripped off or bent up? I should send them some pictures.

Looking at the pics some more, are you mounting the sway bar directly to the frame? I know stock there are brackets that mount to the frame and then the sway bar mounts to those brackets.

That might be something that is screwing things up. It's hard to tell from your pics.

I do have brackets. They are for the Lowered application so don't extend down to far.

Hummm... do you have any pics with the outer ends of the sway bar over the top of the A arms? I'm still trying to figure out where the main problem is.

It's def the front bar from the POL kit. It doesn't look the same a GM bar, but the rear bars is totally different.
