Solenoid help please

I need to know which side of the starter solenoid is the battery side, I have a Ron Francis wiring kit which is really nice and easy, except my solenoid has an R and an S on it. Which one would be the battey side or positive side?

Re: Solenoid help please

the battery goes to the one big post that isn't marked.
The purple wire, or trigger, or start wire (from the neutral asfety switch) goes to the S, and the R is not used unless you have the old points set up.
There is no small battery terminal on the starters.
