Will these headers fit?
I'm looking to put headers on my old truck. 1971 GMC 307 auto-trans.
I found these on ebay http://tinylink.com/?ZACRMld5Sk but I don't know if they will fit. The angled plugs question is an unknown. If they won't fit, does anybody have a lead on a headers that will fit that won't bankrupt me? (I'm currently unemployed) Typically, I am doing this all ass-backwards. I just put dual exhausts (w/ turbo tubes) on. That's when I found out about cracks in my exhaust manifolds. So if I go with headers, I'll have to get the exhaust re-worked as well. It never ends.

Re: Will these headers fit?
Link didnt work for me...
but a quick easy fix would be hit a junk yard and find something that will fit. cause without reworking your Tubes ide assume you would need shorty headers wich IMO is kinda a waste with all the room under your hood with the addition of running into your Linkages.

Re: Will these headers fit?
That Worked.
They do look like a very good deal. are both of your Manifolds identical on both side as far as the collector is concerned? and i could not say for sure they would fit or not but with all the hardware givin in the add i dont see it being hard to make them work. I checked the Sellers feedback looks like he sells alot of these and i see no complaints as far as quality but i would guess they are not going to last a life time. as for the SPark plugs i assume you have straight plugs. if your motor is stock.

Re: Will these headers fit?
I have no idea. In fact, I have no idea what a "collector" is.
The auction says these will not work with angled plugs. What are angled plugs? How do I know if I got them?

Quote:
Do you plugs go perpendicularly into your block, or do they stick out at about a 30-45* angle?
