Typical Idle RPM?

I just installed the tach i bought and was wondering what the normal idleing RPM for out trucks. Right now when my trucks warmed up it idles at about 400-450 rpm's and to me that seems really low. and since its fuel injected i cant manually change the idle, so any one have an idea's on how to do this?

My emissions/vacuum diagram reads 700rpm. I have it bumped to 800-850 so I still have full headlight power when the fan and sterio is running.

I have manual transmission.

My truck idles about 700rpm in park, 600-650 in drive with an automatic.
My 78 could do 600rpm idles, with a mad cool lope

My frineds 80 el camino has a new, rebuilt stock 350. He put a crane energizer cam [a small one] and performer intake on it with headers. It can idle, smooth as silk, at 400rpm.
