Anybody used inline tube?

I just got the inline tube version of both fuel and brake lines , stainless for the blazer and they have a bend in the middle that I am supposed to straighten out. Has anyone done this? I am concerned I will kink them. Great looking but pricy.....

Re: Anybody used inline tube?

Only thing I have from them at the moment is a 4 wheel disc proportioning valve. My understanding is that they put that bend in the middle in order to ship it. Get yourself a tubing bender from any auto parts store. It'll straighten it out with no kinks.

Yes, bent for shipment. I staightened mine out with no problems. Get a tube bender for final adjustment.

Re: Anybody used inline tube?

To get the bend out, put one end on the floor and push against the floor to remove the bend. All tubing companies do this to ship long tubes.

Re: Anybody used inline tube?

Another question for you all who have used the fuel lines from Inline Tube....They come in 2 pieces where the originals had a single line from the back to front. I guess that I am supposed to use a small rubber piece clamps for this? I mean, that is the method of connecting them, nothing any more creative than that, eh?
