LSX 5.3L conversion

Who here has dropped a 5.3L in a 73-87 c10? I can get a motor right now decently priced. How much am I looking at with the all the extra parts I need? fuel pump, fans, fittings, lines, etc etc etc

any help would be appreciated

That is really a generic question. We don't know were you are actually starting. Do you have a good harness, do you have the ability to rewire or do you need a "converted" harness, do you have a complete motor with accessories, which one? What tranny are you using?
Motor mounts are about $100
fuel lines and fittings, if you go braided are about $300
Pump is about $100
harness $600
Programming $300
Exhaust $300
Headers: $600

I am sure I am missing some stuff, but you are looking at about $3000 after the fact...

+1 your question leave alot of guessing to what you got now.

Here is a thread of a build another member is doing. It may help you get started on "THE PATH"
