Joe, is what you are saying true? is there a difference in 60-62 beds compared to 63-66 fleetside beds? I have never heard of that before.

Re: short fleetside bed in watsonville
The only difference is the cross sills under the bed. I have a 66 bed on my 61 with the 66 cross sills, the rear cross sill that the bedsides bolt to is the only difference that I have found.

Re: short fleetside bed in watsonville
yes i'm referring to the cross sills, you can not bolt a '63-'66 on a '60-'62 frame and vice versa. you can change out the sills, not too hard, but kinda expensive if you buy new. also the bed wood would have different holes to mount to the frame. anything can be done, but it sucks when you buy a bed thinking it will fit you truck and find out none of the mounting holes line up.
i tried to put a '60-'62 on my '63 c-10 frame and not one of the holes lined up Jeremy, i think the 4x4 frames are another animal all together.
