I bought a GM original tach for my El Camino,damn,it turned out to be a 6 cylinder tach,mine is a V-8,my bad.Not wanting to tear apart the dash again and buy another overpriced original tach,I searched the internet and came on this site http://www.technoversions.com/

This box can correct 4,6 and 8 cylinder tachs used on 4,6 or 8 cylinder engines in any combination.It's obiviously for tach without a internal cylinder selection switch.
