to c-notch or not to notch

got the rear of my 71 bagged, cut 2 pc driveshaft bracket off crossmember. Driveshaft now had 1 1/4" from hitting crossmember, I am gonna have to get a panhard bar to realign rear end. Panhard bar has 1/2" clearence from hitting frame. Should I do a c-notch? All I would gain would be a inch and have to fab a panhard bar and mount. Not sure if an inch is worth all the trouble. All measurements was air bags air out. What you guys think?

Re: to c-notch or not to notch

An inch is more then you have now, go for it. It seems everytime we lower one its not low enough so go for the gusto now and get what you can. Good Luck
