Post air leaks around door handles

I have air leakage around the interior door handles that is annoying and cold in the winter especially if it is windy. I have had the doors apart to replace window lift motors and have tried to reseal with plastic and accoustic sealant. Punched the smallest hole possible through the plastic for the door opener linkage.
Does anyone have a solution?

Is there a rubber/foamy gasket between the handle and the door panel that would seal this hole up?
