What is the color that you see the least on these truck, or not at all.

The 1969 only maroon seems rare, and I have only seen this yellow on a couple of other trucks.

I don't know....the primer combo on my truck was the only one I'd ever seen like it. I called it grey. Neighbor said it looked green. I think he's nuts. So did his wife when she ran him off....

There are some trucks out there with a "Special Paint" code. I have one of them. I have only seen one other truck this color. The outside has only been painted once and I did it so I know its original. The interior has never been touched( all factory paint) and I have the original glovebox with it listed

Plum poly? Thats what the Autocolor Library has that is closest to Maroon.

Ice Coral Pink. It's a Canadian GMC color from either 71 or 72 only...

Maroon was pretty common around here but I have never seen a pink (coral) truck except on this board.

Lance beat me to the Ice Coral Pink...love that color...LOL!

Ice Coral Pink hands down. I think every dealer in Canada got 1 of them.

The 69 GMC marron was definatly not common. Had one. Very nice color.

You need to differentiate between production color,Fleet (like that yellow),special paint,Chevy vs GMC,and US vs CN.The special paint colors will all be rare in comparison.The Canadian models offered a couple special paint options in their line.So it`s kind of not apples to apples.There rarest production colors would be the one year only ones.
I had a light grey`69 Stepside that was special paint.It also came from the factory with red wheels...all 5.

It doesn't matter what year or country or factory or not. I just want to know the one color that you have either never seen or have only seen 1-2 of. I want a color people will say "Wow, never seen that color on that truck!"

When you are talkning about non factory colors, there are any colors that I can't think of that I've seen before. There were so many of these built, and so many fixed up that its going to be hard to come up with a never before seen paint scheme. With that beig said, since I prefer factory colors, you don't see dark gold or Medum gold irridescent that much. Grapefruit is another cool, but less often seen color.

67 GMC color Palomino, I've only seen it once and I bought the truck. Everything else I've seen a few times.

i've only seen a few black trucks from the factory, but maybe thats a regional thing.
