8 ft bed $275 Indiana - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I offered this a couple weeks ago for $275 obo. I really need to get it out of here. I figure I can probably get $150 as scrap metal. If anybody wants if for that come get it. It is just wrong to send a bed like this to the scrap yard, but it has to go. I will give it a few days, if no action, then off it goes.

For Indiana this is a pretty good bed. The floor is very solid except for one rust spot near the back on the passenger side. The rest of the floor is good with nothing more than surface rust. Some bowing near the back and a few dings.

The driverside bedside is very solid with no rust but there are some dents.

One wheel tub is straight and solid.

The front panel is good but does have a bow. I think it is fixable.

The passengerside bedside is what I consider no good. No rust above the wheel wells, but the panels are rusting and there are dents.

So for the price you are getting a good side, floor, and one wheel housing. Although the rest may be fixable, that would be your choice.

I think the bed does look better in person than what the pics show

Located on the southeast side of Indianapolis.

Yes it is still available. I would have already hauled it off, but I haven't had time. Somebody really needs to save this one. I think you would be surprized at what a good bed it is for $150

Here are some additional pics of bed. Better pics of dents on driversside and braces underneath. I can only find surface rust on braces. No soft spots on braces. They all seem very solid.
