notch or not

I have a 67 short box with a 4 1/2 / 6 drop, It will be a limited street/Strip truck. I was wondering if it needed a notch,I don't have the BBC or trans installed yet and not sure how much clearance I will have once its in. The drop is with 2 1/2 spindles and 2 inch springs front and 6 inch coils in the rear. I have installed a 15 gal fuel cell and the battery in the rear for weigh transfer,Thanks Brian

Re: notch or not

If it's under construction, notch it and be done.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
