Steering pump return hose
I'm putting a new power steering pump on my Blazer & thought I would route the return line right while it's off. Right now, it looks like the PO shot the inner fender with a 12 gauge & just ran a straight piece of hard line from the steering box through the hole & to the pump. I'm assuming it's supposed to be a 90 fitting & run under the inner fender. There seems to be room for this. But I can't find a fitting or already made up hose locally. Did y'all have to make the hose up yourself or are they available aftermarket?

Re: Steering pump return hose
I bought some power steering hose from autozone and couple of clamps. that works for the return but not the high pressure. Later, Mario.

Re: Steering pump return hose
I bought both from GMC Paul's. They look the same as the ones in the pics above. The rubber hose part of the low pressure side can be ATF hose and clamps.

Re: Steering pump return hose
When I bought my lines, the auto-parts store couldn't go back to 1972, so I bought both lines for a 1974 3/4 ton pick-up, they fit almost identical.

Re: Steering pump return hose
I just bought mine last year, I told them it was for a '72 since that's what the donor was when I converted. I got them at Advance Auto parts.
