when you say front end are you talking about the x-member too or just the brakes? i think the spindles and stuff will swap, but you might need inner tie rods or something..ask someone who knows forsure

Swap the whole cross member. It supposed to be the best way to do it. If you do a search on it, you should be able to find alot of info.

The best way to do it is to take the whole front cross member off the donor 75 truck and bolt it on the 69 frame. You will probably need to enlarge two of the frame bolt holes one on each side of the chassis. Other than that the only thing is bolt on then maybe running new break lines to fit the new location of the calipers, not sure on that due to the only one I have done is a 78 to 67. There was some difference there.

If the engine is still in your truck it might be easier to swap just the lower control arms, spindles, upper ball joints, and complete centerlink/tie rod end assembly. I did this on my '68 and used an '81 donor. Getting the brake hoses and lines to all work is the hardest part. But the whole swap took me about a day in the driveway with a floor jack and a pair of jack stands.

Good luck,

Brian
