one on ebay i might look at-have questions

saw this on ebay, has some good options, but i can't tell if the spid is the right one for the truck or not, i'm not real keen on GMC's. it says cheyenne super, but i know they are weird on spid's sometimes, so does anyone know if the spid is to a chevy or gmc. it looks like the options are right, can't tell if it still has a tilt and the radio is long gone. i could use the big block and some other stuff off of it, if the rest is solid, it's worth the money looks like. thanks in advance.

That ad is really hard to read. Anyway, to your question. I am almost positive that the "T" at the beginning of the VIN on the SPID indicates GMC.

Most of the Sierra Grande trucks that I've had were listed as a Cheyenne Super. I think it's legit.

Re: one on ebay i might look at-have questions

the T does mean GMC
Other than the tilt missing, the spid looks acurate.
I would say the SPID is original

looks fairly solid, big block, a/c cab. big block parts, decent sheetmetal, if the toolbox door is good, could be worth asking price in parts. i do see some sort of emblems over door handles, did they call gmc's custom campers instead of camper special's?

I've never seen zeros for the wheelbase before.

only fords were camper specials.
That door looks like it may be pretty kerfaggled to me.
The price seems ok now, but it only has 6 days left.

Re: one on ebay i might look at-have questions

kerfaggled, huh? that's a new one for me. hopefully it's only below the moulding. it's only 30 minutes from me so i may go take a look and see what he's asking outright for it, since it does say for sale locally. i need it like a hole in the head, but that big block would look good sitting in the short frame i have. couple short sides, shortened floor, voila! short, bagged, big block truck.
