56" springs in the front?

Wow.

I went 52" in the front and it's some work... can't imagine 56"
I will get pictures posted as soon as I can, but I ended up fabbing new front leaf mounts that reinforce the front tip of the frame (think in front of the core support), then to make the 56" work and keep the axle centered AND get good shackel angle i will be moving the rear shackle mounts inside the front cab mount, and likely clearancing the back of the front cab mount. Hopefully all this work will pay off with the better ride of a longer spring. Will be doing double shock mounts too and cross tied shackles. Will wait for my moutns to get back from powder coating to mount it all and get weight on to see what needs to move and if I need longer shackles. I'm also talking to the guy at DIY4X.com about whether their shackle flip kit will in fact fit the 67. I made my own, but I'm going to send him the botl patetrn and we'll see how it compares to their 70-72 kit.

How did you guys address pinion angle when you lifted your trucks?

I used a set of 4 degree wedges to correct mine, when I went with 52" springs in the front.
