Steering Shaft question

Hey everyone, I was in the process of installing a column out of a manual truck into my 70 model that was given to me. Upon closer inspection I found out the column had come out of wrecked truck. The threads that the steering wheel mount to are bent. What I am needing to know is will the shaft out of a automatic column work in a manual truck column or are they different?

Thanks,
Steve

Re: Steering Shaft question

Yes, the shafts are the same between manual and automatic.
