gas tank fitment question.

does anyone happen to know,or have one lying around they could measure.

i am wondering if a gas tank from the 88-91 blazers will fit between the rails
of the 1st gen blazer?

i am trying to save some $$ on my 5.3 conversion, dont have access to
measure one to see.

any help is appreciated.
thanks
andy

Re: gas tank fitment question.

I thought about using one of those tanks at one time, even ordered one but as soon as it showed up at the shop, I knew I didn't want to use it.

Their a huge tank and if you not willing to cut the floor & cross member out, it'll hang WAY low.

Fuel cell would be easier IMO.
