ImpalaSS,
Sorry I missed this before, but I guess it didn't matter huh. Places to watch on these trucks are the fender bottoms and wheel well lips, all metal around the battery tray (core support, inner fender, front pass. fender), rocker panels, cab corners and door bottoms and bent hoods for the outside. Inside pull the carpet and door sills as the sills are great about holding dirt under them. Lower kick panels where they meet the floor are prone to rust because the cowl drains past this. Normally the running gear is usually good (if taken care of) I feel like my subconscious is trying to own all years and combinations of the 73-87's. I currently have (2)73'S (1)75 (1)78 (1)80 (1)82 and (1)86. Except for a Blazer (and I am looking), I have owned every availible C10 series body style offered. Suburban, SWB fleet, LWB fleet, SWB stepside. Both 4x4 and 4x2. And every style engine: inline, SBC and BBC. I need professional help! ------------------ Chris Lucas 1973 Chevy C-10 1975 Chevy Silverado Captkaos' Page

Ive had a vehicle from every year from
'67-'86, besides '70, '75, '80, & '84......... This is in the last 6 years, since Driver's Ed........ Got to find those 4 years (especially the 70), and yes, this is normal for a vehicle-aholic.....so I am normal....(and the personalities, too) Later..... ------------------ Project: '68 C-10 LWB Fleet, '81 C-20 LWB,'72 Blazer 4x4 CST, tach,'76 C-20 LWB Lincoln, IL; 30 miles north of Springfield R68C10@juno.com |

There's nothin' wrong with our quest to own all years of that body style I've owned every year from 73 to 80!! and the style before that all but 69 which I'll have to get sooner or later just to say I had it.
Hey don't forget to check the fuel tanks if they have a cover on them they usually fill with gunk and rust. happy huntin' Burlinator
