How Hot?
I was wondering what temp the exhaust pipes and mufflers would reach under normal driving conditions. What about headers?

36 views....hmmmm
I was curious because I would like to have the exhaust powder coated or ceramic coated, but I needed to have an idea on the heat range to know if the powder would stand up to it or not....

I would say ceramic on the headers. I couldnt really say how hot they get.......but i d@mn sure dont like getting my shoulder on the pipes when Im changing oil(OUCH). my system is pretty warm to the trans crossmember, the H pipe is just behind the crossmember........after that point, it cools down a bit. Good luck...crazyL
