Need a quick measurement

Sorry to ask this but mine is locked away for awhile. What is the distance fron the bottom of the seat frame to the floor with a bench seat one other measurement what is the distance from the hump to the frame brackets. Thanks for the help just trying to get an idea put together

I'm sure someone has the original bench seat in their trucks somewhere. I don't have the original seat on mine at this time. It came off a mid 80's crew cab.

Not sure what measurement you want on the hump to frame brackets. The hump encompasses a pretty good sized area. We need to know if you are wanting the edge of the hump to the bracket, center, top, front???

Okay, just remembered I'm using the original bench rails and brackets so the height should be pretty much the same.

On my truck, from the center of the hump to the seat bottom is 4 inches.
From the drive's side from the floor it's 5 inches.

Thanks for the help. I was wanting to see if there would be enough room to build under the seat slidable storage units. I will have to make up something and take it to the body shop and see if it works. Unfortunately my quy is in Denver at Pinks all out right now so thats why I couldn't get measurements.

I'm assuming all 67-72 truck floor panels are the same. Here's a pic of what it look like under the seat. If I were to make sliding storage compartments I would make them 4" high X 12" wide and about 18-20" deep to leave enough clearance on the sides, bottom and back.

I measured from beginning of hump rise to the edge of bracket bottom where the bolt is. It was 13 and 3/8th. inches.

btw: that's a pretty good idea... I may use it for my truck some time.

If you do build one, post a pic so we can see what it looks like.

I usually carry a small tool box under the drivers side but it's a pain to slide out.

Thanks for the pic on that it will help with the brainstorming looks like the front raised section is about 1/2 of an inch that I will need to build track supports for along the way.
