I miss my truck...so I took some pics of her today...

I have it parked at my folks house...that's where I store all my junk/projects. I haven't drivn' it in a while.
-
I fired it up, and let it run for a bit....
-

-
As you can see, it's holding all my water-sport gear.....
-

-

-
Beside the '63, this is where the "back-burner" is located, all the projects I keep telling myself I'm gonna get to....The Chevy powered Samurai, the '56 VW oval, and a 71 SS Nova....
-

-
Here's an oldie, but still hauls ass...
-

-

-

-
Here's the 14to1 all roller old school 350 my pops-n-law gave me that'll some day work its way into the Nova. This is what we pulled out of the red '57 wagon...

Yeap, it's a true SS....factory discs, original 350,350 Bench, column shift, 10 bolt....

Well, I drive my Super-Duty alot, and haven't had time to really to pull it out.

It's not really thrifty on gas....IYKWIM

John you have my problem........so many projects, so little time. Let us bow our heads in a moment of silence for our parked projects, wherever they may be.

Re: I miss my truck...so I took some pics of her today...

Well, she is good to go now.....I have a couple of other vehicles in the shop right now.

Currently, building a 71 LTD lowrider for a customer (??)....I have my wifes '57 wagon to do a Painless on it, and also the "Z069" project is there as well, on hold while we wait for the body-shop.

My next step on the truck will be a custom-built rear tank, then finally get around to the suspension.

I just walk out in the garage/driveway - flip a coin - and that's how I decide which project to work on.

After seeing these pics, my wife isn't so upset with me anymore about our garage.

I hear man....I keep all this stuff under wraps at my folks house. Their is set-up with the garage in the backyard, with a long driveway. There is more space behind the garage as well...that's why I opened up that hole, and installed a door back they.....Nothing is visiable from the street which is good...Here a shot looking thru the rear door, at the 63 C-20 chassis I'm trying to part on CL

John, don't feel sad, let her rest a while. When ever you return to start work on her, that little grill will smile at you and she'll fire up first time. Phil.

Is that a pool cover over the Nova? Does the plastic stick to the car? That is a cheap alternative to a car cover if it does not stick itself to the car in the heat.

Re: I miss my truck...so I took some pics of her today...

My shop is out at my father's place. These pics were actually before I started using it. Stuffed with customer vehicles and 4 of mine right now. Funny part is I haven't even brought the 65 or my 68 impala hardtop out there yet, not enough room! LOL

Re: I miss my truck...so I took some pics of her today...

I miss mine too. Haven't driven it in over a year and a half, and haven't unburied it in my dad's garage in about 8 months. 2 more weeks and I'll give it a bit of attention and z the frame. Hopefully get the ball rolling on that. Then the break for Fall semester at college. Then the backhalf... Rough life w/ the projects not around.

Yeap...good call, it is a pool cover. I came across this HUGE pool cover and have been using the plastic as covers for the nova, boat and floor when working with nasty underbodies and stuff. The plastic works good, doesn't stick to anything really....then again, the Nova is far from having nice paint.

My parents are cool. They are elderly, but still kickin, and don't use the yard. My mom parks hear Corolla in the begining of the driveway because she cant manage to back out of the long driveway. They dont mind me storing stuff, because it give them a chance to see my kids more often.

Next month, I'm driving the Chief to Nevada City (3hours freeway, for a show) Hopefully the tank and 700R4 will be in there.....at least the tranny. I hate using a trailer...by far not a trailer queen...just can't stand the 65mph RPMS !!!
