Truck Nats at Carlisle today
Went to the show today. Great weather, but low turn out imo. Not many vendors or trucks there. I saw board member's "Jcentsr6" truck there, but didn't see him. His paint repair sure looked good on the left fender. Also looked for Special K. Didn't see him either. Didn't even see GMCPaul there. Only big vendor I saw was The Truck & Car Shop. Maybe tomorrow will be better. 1st time I ever saw the big rigs bringing in bulldozers and earth movers to a show......No, I didn't take any pics. Had the camera in my pocket, but forgot to use it, so go ahead and yell at me.

He had a big red 72 tow truck sitting out front and a white 72 GMC sitting behind it. Oh yeah, we had shade and beer for everyone...

Re: Truck Nats at Carlisle today
I'll post a few pics later, saw a beautiful Blazer out there with a lot of custom work.
The show was SLOOOOOOOW this year. A couple more years like that and they might cancel it I would bet. I was also disappointed that GMC Paul's didn't show up this year, I had to buy parts elsewhere instead. I walked out with a lot of patch pieces this year as well as some pre-arrange parts pickups. I think it is the most I have spent any year at this show.

Re: Truck Nats at Carlisle today
I was also surprised that GMCPaul wasn't there. Maybe fuel cost is what's keeping people away......

Re: Truck Nats at Carlisle today
I heard Paul didn`t come due to fuel costs.I think it`s hurting vending and spectating.
I saw alot of two-baggers.Maybe more than trucks!!!!! I enjoyed meeting alot of guys, especially the ones with attractive ladies along with them.Hold`em tight boys. You`re lucky men!!! I`m disappointed I missed both you Maryland guys (and VA_TLC).This crab feed idea has got to happen. How about September?...Perfect!!! Duallyjams said he`d host it down in Deale.I don`t care if we have to cram into a rented Aveo.Let`s pick some crabs and shoot the bull!!
