Re: Charlotte auto fair

eeehhhh... Just don't go on sunday - you'll pay full price to get in and find out all the vendors left on sat. night... and yes, I'm still griping about it... even if it was raining... OK, down off the soap box.
I'll probably go again this year as a few guys around here will be going. As for used stuff, you have to go by my house to get there...
I'd go if you haven't been.

Re: Charlotte auto fair

Same at Carlisle. My dad and I were shocked to see 1/4 or so of the vendors had pulled out by saturday at 4, and the weather was awesome.

If you are serious about buying stuff, you need to go thursday/friday. There *could* be some great deals on sunday, but that's assuming the seller/vendor is still there

Re: Charlotte auto fair

its a pretty good event. new stuff is what you will generally find. i like the Goodguys event in October better, they have better cars there. If you are looking for parts though they are both about the same, just mostly new stuff. Look for a guy name dave @ Daves truck parts he usually has his stuff priced pretty good and will probably have alot of stuff you need, very good guy.

Re: Charlotte auto fair

When I went to the Goodguys event last year the swap meet was very small and only a couple vendors for "our trucks" were there. However, the car show was A W E S O M E!!!!

The spring and fall autofairs have a much larger swap meet.
